Pictures from Jena are online. We've been told that the gig in Greussen has been called off. Here is a excerpt from the event organizer's mail:

"Hello,
Unfortunately we must hereby inform you that as of today, the authorization for the Greussen gig has not yet been issued. In order to abide by the cancellation-period terms, we had to cancel this gig. In order not to jeopardize the planned Nordhausen concert, we will call a spade a spade with regards to Roß&Reiter, who unbeknownst to us had his fingerprints all over this screw-up."

Now, someone is supposed to understand that??

The gig on October 12 in Jena is official. Our first album is now available worldwide. The first copies are on their way to Japan and the USA. If that isn't good news!!! Meanwhile we are rehearsing new material, so that we will be able to test out a song here and there in Jena.

Unfortunately the gig in Creuzburg has been canceled. Those who already had tickets can return them to the ticket-agencies. We'd also like to take this opportunity to note that the gigs in Tübingen and Horb on December 21 and 22, 2007 have been postponed. For the next record we now have enough material gathered, accordingly we can fully concentrate on the songs we have at hand. Then at the end of September we will be going into the studio.

So!! It's been quiet here long enough. Again a Metal Battle show has passed into history, and the last gig in Mühlhausen has been checked off. Pictures will be provided soon. In other matters we are industriously working on new songs in the rehearsal room.

Sooooo! It has taken a while, but now there are new photos from the Metal Battle in Jena. Also in the 1985 section of the GALLERY there are a whole bunch of new photos from the early days of the band. Click on "Neues Material gefunden" (new material found)! Many thanks to Jack Schneider!

Although by lottery we had to open the show, at the end we nonetheless came away with a stellar performance. We thank all the fans for their support. On May 6, we'll get ready for the second Metal Battle round in Frankfurt am Main. GET READY TO RUMBLE! Pictures etc. will follow in the coming days.

We will be playing on February 23, 2007 at 21:00 and will open the fun. On February 3, 2007 we'll be in Gotha to get our first gig of the year underway!!

We have been selected for the Metal Battle 2007 show on February 23, 2007 in Jena. We are really excited about it!

It was again a great evening in Zella- Mehlis - see the GALLERY!! We immersed ourselves once again in the rehearsal room and worked on the songs for our new album. In case we can squeeze in another gig in what remains of this year, you'll be sure to find out here.

New photos of the gig in Hof are online. On November 11, 2006 there will be another gig in Bad Langensalza.

The appearance in Gera was really a special experience. We played in the middle of the pedestrian walkway. This was a first even for us. Some photos to marvel at are online. It looks almost like the penitentiary!!!!  

The concert in Steinbach was a complete success. Pictures are online. In the SHOP there are now new T-shirts and for our ladies the ever-requested Girlies shirts.

In the current ROCKHARD edition, a page was dedicated to an interview with us. New gigs are in the planning stages.

On August 25, 2006 we will play again in support of IN EXTREMO in the Naturtheater in Steinbach-Langenbach next to Schleusingen. New songs are in the works, despite the World Cup and nice weather. Below are a few recent photos from the rehearsal room.

What else is there to say, other than the gig in Tübingen was absolutely fantastic. Kind colleagues (Calamus and Celestial Ashes), a super audience, and a first-class production-team. Many thanks to Crazy and all the participants. Now we have to destabilize the West more often! In the GALLERY you will find as usual the most recent snapshots.

It was again a fantastic gig in Mühlhausen. After the subsequent gig in Tübingen we were re-energized to write new material. Further gigs are in the planning stages, such as Berlin, where we still are looking for an opening date. We will let you know as soon as we hear something. Meanwhile our debut album is selling very well, so that around the end of the year we should be attacking our second album. Many thanks to all our fans for their support!!!!

The release-party is over and in spite of the poor advertising there were many "friends of the cheerful dance-music" in the Stadtgarten. A blitz of photo-lights was present, just like it was 20 years ago, only with the difference that this time the press was responsible, rather than the Stasi! We thank our technical crew and all the fans, who over the many years have remained loyal to us.

The gig in Hof was awesome and we thank everyone there for the incredible atmosphere at the gig. Special thanks go to Carsten and Harry for their technical work and support. On October 7, 2006 we'll deliver yet another assault in Hof!!

In PRESS there are a bunch of new reviews to read. Next week things are really getting underway. We'll play for the first time in 20 years, again in the STADTGARTEN, the place where it all began and ended. In the picture to the left you can see an original entrance-card. In the G.D.R-times the Stadtgarten was called "the central club of the youth and sportsmen". There should have been more than enough sporting activities such as moshing in front of the stage on September 4, 1985. It was supposed to be our last appearance under the name of MACBETH. In HISTORY there is something in the STASI files with regards to this concert. We are overjoyed and hope that you all will help come and contribute to a large turnout. Here is a kind of live-review from "DAS VOLK" from July 15, 1985, which is incidentally the only article that was printed about us in the former German Democratic Republic. At this time we still hadn't obtained our performance-license and played on the coat-tails of PRINZZ, who made this gig possible for us. The following year, the band was banned on November 6, 1986.

In the SOUNDCHECK 5/2006 there's an interview and a portion of the live recordings on the Clubgig-DVD. If you subscribe, it's already out today  - it will be out April 24 in kiosks.

The pressing plant was very quick and thus after today the record will already be available from us in the SHOP. Therefore it's time to celebrate! So here's a CHEERS! We thank all the participants and friends who have supported us and we look forward to the official release-party in the Stadtgarten on May 20, 2006.

The CD will appear on April 1, 2006. It will be sold here on our website and also through Amazon. The release-party will be held on May 20, 2006 in the Erfur Stadtgarten. Because we have so many memories tied to the Stadtgarten, of course this hall was our first choice. After the party there will also be some live recordings, and an interview will be provided for the magazine SOUNDCHECK's Clubgig-DVD.     

The song "Fährmann" (Ferryman) has been published for the first time on a Metal Sampler. You can find this at www.trendfabrik.com. Our first official album is now at the pressing plant. It should be available sometime after April 1, 2006. You'll find out the exact date here. Today we are looking at a few locations for the upcoming release party. More info will be given out in the coming days.

The usual good party wishes to all friends of our cheerful dance music! Don't gorge yourself too much and be sure to arrive safely in the New Year!

The voting on the sampler will not commence until November 28, 2005. The release date has been postponed to the beginning of January 2006.

The song "Komm mit mir" (Come with me) will appear November 15, 2005 on the Hitpack-Sampler, which will appear as a double-CD. After November 15, 2005 you can then vote for us, and we'll see how well we perform. 50,000 copies of the sampler are being produced, and over 40 bands are part of it.

The mixing work is completed for the songs on the CD. Unfortunately we still cannot say when the exact release date will be. That depends on how the negotiations proceed with the different labels. In the GALLERY there are a few photos from the last gig in Nordhausen.

Friday we had the pleasure of supporting IN EXTREMO at the Naturtheater, a place that is worth a visit in itself. When we got there, we were completely surprised to see that two-thirds of the area was already full of people awaiting us. Despite the rain, the people supported us from the very beginning and this ought to become the best gig in our recent history.
